QUALITY NORMS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR DECORATIVE & HOUSEHOLD GLASSWARE
Taking into account that COMAN DESIGN products are 100% hand crafted (mouth blown, hand painted, acid-etched, hand engraved), they can show the following particularities:
1. colour
- for white colourless glass there are allowed light greenish, bluish shades or very pale shade of pink;
- for coloured glassware - it is allowed a light force difference of the colour and of its intensity;
2. "midges" and air bubbles, smaller or larger - they are allowed;
3. scratches - little scratches are allowed on the external surface; on the bottom of the item, there are allowed concentric scratches and marks from the cutting by shears or the polishing process;
4. threads and veins - the impalpable ones are allowed;
5. the verticality of the item - visible to the naked eye deviations are not allowed
6. inner tensions - they are not allowed;
7. inherent flatness of contact surface - the edges have to ensurean adequate stability;
8. fissures, cracks, breaches - they are not allowed
9. the brims - marks from the cutting by shears process are allowed
10. mould deriving marks - they are allowed;
11. marks from tools and insatruments - they are allowed; the items can bear the traces of the master's intervention;
12. sizes & capacity - some minor differences ar allowed; thus, the dimensions are not identical to those indicated by codes, each item being unique. The item you are ordering will be made based on their height, diameter, shape, drawing theme and colour theme. The item you will receive is identical in height, diameter, shape, drawing theme and colour theme with the one you chose pictured on the site. However, since each item is 100% hand made, some minor differences should be expected. Based on our experience as manufacturer we know that a few details of the drawing and some colour shades will not be perfectly identical with those of the item you see pictured on the site. We can assure you of our 100% commitment to make it as close as possible to the sample pictured on our site.
